Details: The Audit & Assurance team is part of the Governance Branch and is responsible for planning and delivering the Directorate’s annual audit program, monitoring Directorate risk and governance controls, and coordination of audit sponsors, auditees, and audit providers. It also supports the work of the Senior Executive Responsible for Business Integrity Risk (SERBIR) and provides secretariat/administrative leadership to the Audit Committee. The Audit Secretariat Manager is a key member of the Audit & Assurance team. The role is diverse and responsible for contributing to an effective internal audit function for the Directorate, under the direction of the Chief Internal Auditor. This includes but is not limited to: leading the Audit Committee secretariat services (development of agendas, meeting minutes, following-up actions), liaising and working closely with business areas on the implementation of outstanding audit recommendations, assisting with contract management, and preparing written reports. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Membership of a professional body is highly valued – IIA, CPA or CA. Experience and qualification/s in Internal Audit, Governance, Risk Management, and Business Administration are highly valued.
