We have a thrilling opportunity for an exceptional Investigator with a proven background in regulatory and criminal investigation to join our Investigations Prosecutions team. Seize the opportunity to become an Investigator, spearheading efficient, innovative, and effective delivery of multi-faceted intelligence-led, risk-based investigation activities to ensure scheme integrity and protect scheme participants. In this role, you'll conduct regular targeted proactive compliance programs while supporting fellow team members in honing their investigative skills and delivering compliance activities. Your day-to-day Prepare and undertake complex compliance and investigation activities, delivering risk-based regulatory programs to enhance compliance. Undertake proactive compliance operations to stay ahead of potential issues. Provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders, maximizing regulatory outcomes and minimizing negative impacts on SIRA-regulated schemes. Stay up to date with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, setting a standard of exemplary regulatory practice for the NSW community. Gather, review, and maintain accurate records, documents, submissions, and reports, recommending appropriate actions to decision-makers while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Deliver innovative regulatory services, working tirelessly to protect the NSW community. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Certificate IV in Government Investigations or similar qualification or willingness to complete the qualification. Experience in conducting investigations into fraud and/or industry misconduct. Experience in conducting investigations and inspections, gathering evidence, and preparing prosecution briefs. Knowledge of criminal law, rules of evidence, criminal procedures, and administrative law. Familiarity with electronic Investigation Case Management Systems, enhancing your efficiency and effectiveness. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effortlessly engage with internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative team player, adept at initiating, building, and maintaining productive working relationships.
