This includes the provision of strategic and specialist advice to key stakeholders and acting as a senior point of contact for teacher professional conduct and ethics matters, including associated guidance for other relevant entities. This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning. The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it. Duties To assist the Manager of Professional Conduct and Legal (the Manager) to lead and manage processes and staff in support of the Board and its Office, to carry out professional conduct functions, the maintenance of a code of professional ethics for the teaching profession, and compliance with all relevant Acts. This includes the provision of strategic and specialist advice to key stakeholders and acting as a senior point of contact for teacher professional conduct and ethics matters, including associated guidance for other relevant entities. Period of Appointment Start date of 3 March 2025 for 3 years Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1. Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours per fortnight Minimum Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment) Tertiary qualifications in law or public administration/regulation.
