Job Description
As the Assistant Moulding Technician, you will provide direct support to the Senior Moulding Technician who ensures the production plan is executed with maximum efficiency. This will involve providing real-time solutions to issues across the handling of tools, raw materials, machine operation, and process parameters that are used for plastic moulding production. Key to the success of this role will be your ability to influence key stakeholders and practically apply your injection moulding expertise to ensure all areas of production are running smoothly. Essential Criteria Minimum 5 years’ experience in injection moulding Certificate in Polymer Technology (Injection Moulding) Forklift Licence (LF) Excellent understanding of injection moulding, manufacturing, and support processes Understanding of scientific moulding principles Attention to detail and quality focused Strong analytical and injection moulding troubleshooting skills Strong literacy and numeracy skills Computer literacy for completion of all documentation Shift: Day shift – ideally split between the morning and afternoon shift Hours: Full-time and flexible.
