Job Description

Currently seeking an experienced GP clinic assistant practice manager for a very well-established GP-owned and operated clinic located in Maryborough.Your role will involve managing staff, ensuring compliance, rostering, and implementing policies that enhance patient care and streamline workflows.Duties: Assisting lead doctors with operational excellence Overseeing day-to-day practice operations – reporting to senior management Reception shifts In-house recruitment Carrying out inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients, and rescheduling appointments) Solution-focused management of clinic operations and doctor queries Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years GP clinic experience or similar Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential. Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred.
