Job Description
Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant School Support Accountant to become a vital part of our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial operations of Catholic schools across Western Australia.This is a full-time ongoing position based in West Leederville commencing as soon as practicable.What we can offer you Salary range for this position is F1 to F4 on the CEO salary scale ($78,838 - $85,003 per annum) plus superannuation. 5 days additional paid leave when the office is closed (over Christmas and Easter). About you Prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of your duties. A service mindset to ensure that Catholic Schools in Western Australia receive the necessary support to achieve their objectives according to system priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize work and take initiative. Problem-solving skills with a solutions-focused approach. High attention to detail and accuracy in work. Sound computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of productivity applications. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, or a Commerce-related field. Progressing towards membership of a professional accounting body (CPA or CAANZ) through post-graduate qualification or equivalent.
