About the role As the Assistant Service Manager, you will shape the service while building positive relationships with children, their families, your staff, and the school leadership team. You will lead a team of enthusiastic educators across before and after school care during the school term and during vacation care. Your experience and love of organising and planning will ensure the smooth running of the service that provides children and their families with the best support. About you As an experienced leader in childcare, you will thrive on overseeing all aspects of the OSHC service while creating a positive environment for your team, the children, and their families. You are someone who wants to make a difference and, using your creative flair, will work with your team to develop and implement high-quality programs that allow our children to learn in a safe and nurturing environment. You will have responsibility for ensuring the service complies with relevant regulations and standards and managing financial planning and budgets for the service. Qualifications We are looking for applicants with the following qualifications or studying toward: Any 2-year Full-time Equivalent in Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Drama, or Music qualification. Two years studying toward Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy, or Speech Pathology. Completed 2-year full-time studies toward Primary, Secondary, or Special Education qualification. Completed 2-year full-time studies toward Sport and Recreational qualification. Completed Cert 3, Diploma in Early Childhood, or studying toward. Current Blue Card. First Aid or willingness to attain one. Previous experience working with diverse communities is an asset.
