Job Description

This position will be scheduled 1-2 days per week. Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Swim Coach to assist with our Heathrow CVST swim team and manage our aquatic programs with our Head Swim Coach. The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming, excellent leadership skills, and a strong ability to inspire and develop swimmers of all ages and abilities. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and oversee all swim team practices and meets. Develop and implement training programs tailored to various skill levels. Provide individual coaching and feedback to swimmers to improve performance. Ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers during practices and meets. Recruit, train, and supervise assistant coaches and volunteers. Organize and manage swim team events, including meets, team-building activities, and clinics. Maintain accurate records of swimmer performance and attendance. Communicate regularly with swimmers, parents, and club management regarding team activities, schedules, and progress. Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages sportsmanship and personal growth. Qualifications: Previous experience as a swim coach, preferably at a competitive level. Strong knowledge of swim techniques, training methods, and safety protocols. Proven ability to lead and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain). #J-18808-Ljbffr
