This position works closely with the multi-disciplinary team ensuring patients receive high quality care with the aim to increase mobility and functionality to ensure a safe transition to discharge. Where you'll be working : Mona Vale Hospital - Rehabilitation Units What you'll be doing : This role works closely with the Nursing and Allied Health teams to promote and provide additional support to the patients, with a firm focus on mobility, balance and exercises to improve functionality for our patients. This is a key role within our team. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate or completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care). Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
