In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned tasks in the areas of data analysis, data extraction, data assessment, documentation and reporting and will have a detailed understanding of data structures and programming. You will also be supporting larger and more complex projects such as data visualisations and their automations and will be working with colleagues in other areas of the company to come up with intelligent solutions. What will you be doing? Delivery of automated custom data extracts including briefing, SQL querying, delivery and after delivery client support. Be the subject matter expert for designing, building, and delivering reporting solutions for internal and external clients in an automated methodology. Development of report or dashboard automation solutions using AWS services, Python, and SQL. Data analysis and reporting/presentation of results. Perform as a subject matter expert on the company’s property data assets. Stakeholder engagement of both internal and external customers. Ensure that all data assets, processes, and systems have up-to-date and accurate documentation. Property data reporting on a periodic basis. Identification and reporting data anomalies. Are you the right fit? To be successful in this role the key competencies required include: Intermediate technical querying skills in SQL Server essential. Intermediate technical skills in Python essential. A detailed understanding of data and data structures. Experience in automating solutions essential. Experience with cloud-based technologies. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, focus on accuracy, critical 'out-of-the-box' thinking. Ability to assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures, and recommend improvements. Ability to time manage and escalate as needed. Ability to work well as part of an agile team as well as independently with minimal supervision. Delivery oriented and ability to drive towards deadlines and ensuring customer outcomes are delivered. Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to have your message heard and understood. Job Qualifications: What credentials do you need? : Bachelors (or higher) degree in computing, mathematics, statistics, or science related disciplines. Minimum of 1-2 years commercial experience using relevant software tools, e.g. SQL, Python. Experience in working in a data-lead business or an equivalent department in a larger company. What does success look like? Key Performance Indicators are based on: Completion of tasks/projects by the required timeframe. Number of reports run weekly. Meeting SLA’s for trouble shooting and issue resolution of reports. Identifying process improvements and automating where possible. Increase revenue generated through the delivery of reports.
