Associate, Asset Management Assurance Temporary (until August 2025) - Sydney This role is a salary Clerk Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $110,266 - $122,058 base plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.Join INSW and play your part in creating a sustainable infrastructure legacy for NSW! About the Role The Associate, Asset Management Assurance is responsible for providing analysis, reporting and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of the Asset Management Assurance functions to agreed standards.The role ensures data and information are meticulously sourced, collated, and compiled to identify emerging issues or inconsistencies, and for tracking and reporting of the progress of projects against established criteria, milestones and deliverables. The role demands a high level of organisation, precision and analytical prowess.It also involves undertaking ad hoc project, program, policy, agency and industry related research, contributing to the adaptive and forward-thinking approach to infrastructure management, development, delivery and assurance.Key Accountabilities: Provide input and support for the preparation of accurate regular and ad-hoc reports, ad hoc policy, and industry related research, including to senior executive infrastructure committees and Cabinet facilitating sound decision making. Provide advice, information, and guidance on asset management related matters to staff across agencies providing governance and support good practice in asset management. Collate and analyse asset management data, consult with key internal stakeholders, and prepare reports. Review, research and develop recommendations to improve efficiency of the monitoring and reporting on projects and programs. Perform efficient and effective Secretariat functions for various related committees and organise engagement activities including the Asset Management Community of Practice supporting the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework and the NSW Asset Management Policy. Coordinate, update and manage documentation and records, complying with the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework and the NSW Asset Management Policy, ensuring all information is accurate, stored correctly and is accessible. Support Associate Director and Director of the Asset Management Assurance team with key deliverables. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Strong interest in asset management with some experience in its application to managing infrastructure assets. Advanced skills in using Microsoft suite of products to analyse and manipulate data and produce visual presentations. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions. Sound report writing and visual presentation design abilities.
