Make an impact by shaping future-ready workforce solutions for the NSW public sector within the Workforce Planning Branch Ongoing role, Clerk grade 11/12, based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD About the Role As our Associate Director, Strategic Workforce Development, you will lead the design and implementation of workforce strategies, research, and strategic initiatives across the NSW public sector. Your work will ensure that workforce policies and programs are future-focused, data-driven, and responsive to emerging challenges, including technological, demographic, and societal shifts. In this role, you will add value by driving cross-sector collaboration, developing workforce planning tools, and delivering initiatives that enhance workforce capability and sustainability. You will provide expert workforce analysis, translate high-level policy into practical solutions, and ensure alignment with government priorities. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Workforce Development, you will work closely with senior executives, agency leaders, and key stakeholders to implement workforce strategies that prepare the sector for the future. Expert in workforce strategy, planning, and development within complex organisations or government sectors Holds tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proven track record of leading strategic workforce initiatives and delivering measurable outcomes Skilled at using data and evidence to inform workforce planning, policy implementation, and decision-making Experienced in engaging and influencing stakeholders, building strong partnerships across agencies and sectors We know the value of diverse experiences.
