Associate Director - Strategy and Transactions Associate Director - Strategy and Transactions Are you an experienced Managing Consultant with a passion for sustainable energy transitions and strategic capital investment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading advisory firm that helps organisations navigate the shift to a net-zero future. About the Role Sitting within the Capital Strategy team, this role focuses on delivering strategic advice on debt and equity structuring, commercial due diligence, and advising on integration, separation, and joint venture planning. You will work with clients across Australia and globally, providing insights and analysis to support high-stakes decision-making. The role involves conducting research, preparing high-quality deliverables, attending client meetings, and contributing to business development efforts. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic, commercial, and sustainability advisory services. Conduct high-quality research and analysis to support client engagements. Advise on investment opportunities, capital allocation, and project structuring. Support M&A, joint ventures, and transaction-related activities. Assist with post-deal integration, separation, and synergy assessments. Develop business cases and assess project financial viability. Engage with stakeholders, including clients, investors, and funding partners. Deliver high-quality presentations and reports. About You Experience: Minimum 6 years in consulting, industry, or government, with expertise in energy, capital strategy, or sustainable finance. Advisory Expertise: Strong background in commercial advisory, M&A support, and project structuring. Strategic Insight: Experience applying strategic frameworks to emerging markets impacted by the transition to net-zero. Communication & Leadership: Ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders, provide guidance to teams, and deliver compelling presentations.
