Associate Manager, Logistics, Energy Warehousing Job Category: Supply Chain Location: Ravenhall Req. ID: 238946 Job Type: Full-time What to Expect: As an Associate Manager of Energy Warehouse Operations, you will be playing a critical role in ensuring that order fulfillment, inventory health, and people development are supporting the production goals of Tesla Energy Operation Centres. You will be asked to work cross-functionally, interfacing with process engineering, material planning, service, installation, OIM, and commercial teams to ensure organizational and departmental goals are being satisfied. What You’ll Do: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment at the lowest total possible cost while insisting on the highest quality standards. Drive a strong positive work and team culture through effective communication by showcasing the essential building blocks of mutual trust and respect with employees and peers. Own regional responsibilities as needed and communicate opportunities within the region. Establish and maintain mechanisms to ensure inventory accuracy in OC’s. Provide coaching and mentorship to direct reports and mentor M1 Supervisors on leadership, KPI’s, cost analysis, etc. Coordinate, drive, and execute project management for organizational scope goals through inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics integration, material planning, or process engineering. Monitor and reduce warehousing operation cost inputs using cost/profit analysis skills. Track and work cross-functionally on multiple KPI’s to improve processes, support inventory control, address production bottlenecks, and increase productivity. Proactively communicate safety-related incidents and take actions to prevent future incidents in collaboration with EHS. Propose and track budgets for various cost variables including labor, POs, facility maintenance, and logistics. Foster positive working relationships with internal/external customers and serve as a second point of contact for critical customer escalations. Identify, develop, and place talented individuals into key areas for overall business growth. What You’ll Bring: 5+ years of experience in a high-volume operations or warehousing environment. Proven ability to drive change through continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of fulfillment. Proven success in managing multiple operations with responsibility for warehouse functions. Ability to own multi-site facility budgeting and track spend targets. Strong communication and management skills combined with business analytics, process/system development, and change management. Expectations to travel within the sub-region at least 30% of the time.
