Associate Nurse Unit Manager - DOSA | Melbourne Posted: 05/02/2025 An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Day Surgery Nurse who is ambitious for management and is ready to step into a pivotal leadership role at a private hospital in Melbourne. It's a permanent Full-Time position. ABOUT THE ROLE As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will collaborate and consult with Visiting Medical Officers to achieve the best practice and patient outcomes. In the ANUM role, you will also closely monitor and assist with human and equipment resource management. You will bring a vital clinical skill set with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service. REQUIREMENTS Current AHPRA registration; At least 5 years of acute surgical or day procedure experience; Experience within DOSA essential; Clinical leadership experience will be highly regarded; Postgraduate Qualifications will be highly desirable. ABOUT THE FACILITY The hospital, located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, is a 98-bed acute/surgical facility providing Medical, Surgical and Maternity specialities and services. The hospital has seven operating theatres, including a Day Procedure Unit. There is a 20-bed maternity unit, with 3 birth suites and a special care nursery. The Medical/Surgical Unit is 32 beds, including a 6-bed early parenting centre and an 8-chair day oncology unit. All departments are staffed by experienced and skilled healthcare professionals, who are familiar with the latest developments and research in their respective fields.
