Associate or Senior Associate, Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer We represent one of Australia’s leading national law firms, who is looking for an experienced lawyer to join their Litigation & Dispute Resolution team. The Team You will be working closely with a highly regarded partner, who is renowned for their investigative and disputes expertise, especially relating to government. The wider team’s work spans a variety of areas, including corporate disputes, regulatory investigations, property and commercial conflicts, civil penalty cases, judicial reviews, and advisory roles for government agencies and corporate clients. The Role The successful candidate will have direct client interaction and collaborate with the national team on a significant government matter, offering exposure to high-profile, large-scale disputes. You will manage high-profile matters, particularly those involving government-related cases, and provide strategic, clear legal advice that aligns with client objectives. Requirements The ideal candidate will have 4 to 9 years' of post-admission experience , currently at the senior associate level (or close to it). You will have significant experience in litigation, with a strong background in managing disputes. Experience in government-related disputes, investigations, or regulatory matters is advantageous but not essential. Additionally, you will possess the ability to: Deliver high-quality, strategic legal advice. Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Lead and develop junior team members, contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
