The Role We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Commercial Real Estate team in Brisbane. This role involves opportunities to work on an exciting and diverse range of matters throughout Australia, focusing especially on delivering advice on Queensland matters and in the renewables space. The Team Our Commercial Real Estate Group assists major local and international clients in relation to their real estate investments and requirements throughout Australia, the Asia Pacific, and beyond. We advise private equity and institutional investors, fund and asset managers, property developers, and financiers doing business across Australia and in offshore markets. What we're looking for If you have at least 2 years’ post-admission property law legal experience and you genuinely want to learn and build a legal career in the commercial real estate industry, then it would be great to hear from you. Minimum 2 years' property law experience in commercial sales and acquisitions, commercial and retail leasing, and real estate due diligence; Relevant experience in a top-tier or leading international firm preferred; A strong client service orientation; Strong technical, drafting, and commercial skills; Excellent analytical, communication, and research skills; A commitment to high work standards and strong attention to detail; An ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity; An ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for this relationship; An ability to work well in a team environment (including across Australian offices and internationally); A willingness to learn.
