The Annex is an industry leading marketing service business that collaborates with talent, management, and labels to deliver tailor-made music marketing strategies, product launches, and campaigns. Your new role: We're looking for an Audience Development Lead to be based in Melbourne (Narrm) whose skills are crafting, optimising and reporting on digital marketing strategies and campaigns that boost brand visibility and engage fans all the while tapping into our unique Aussie audiences. What would a day in the life look like for you? Work with a passionate internal team to manage end to end digital marketing campaigns for a range of independent artist campaigns, including budget proposals, set up and optimisation of digital advertising campaigns, inputting on content performance and feeding back on results in a timely manner. Work with label partners and clients in implementing digital advertising briefs and reporting. Staying up to date with the ever-changing world of social media and digital platform opportunities, ensuring platform updates are being communicated and used effectively both within the team and in discussions with clients. Get creative with social media strategies for artists, making sure everything aligns with their brand vision and growth goals. Collaborate with the team and our external partners to level up audience analysis and identify both online and offline networks within these target audiences. Dive into the digital world with reporting, optimization, analysis and streamlining all the behind-the-scenes processes. We would love for you to have: Hands-on experience with digital advertising. Proven success in running impactful ad campaigns that get results. Deep knowledge of digital marketing metrics, KPIs, and analytics tools (think Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager). Experience with audience targeting, segmentation, retargeting, and A/B testing. Project management skills — keeping things smooth, organized, and on point. Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative environments both in internal and external situations. Passion for music and understanding of trends. A strategic thinker who’s all about delivering fresh, innovative ideas. Detail-obsessed with a sharp eye for spotting trends and spotting outliers.
