Do work that matters As the Manager, Business Banking Audit you will advise the stakeholders across the Group to identify and mitigate areas of risk and make valuable recommendations on controls. See yourself in our team Our Group Audit and Assurance (GA&A) team are the internal audit function for the Group. Their primary purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Group's risk management, controls and governance processes. As digital technology disrupts and transforms entire industries and ways of working, GA&A is committed to keeping pace and continually reimagining themselves with the latest global best technology and innovation. Evolving customer expectations and pace of change require GA&A to support the business with new insights and risk coverage that puts customers first and to continue to provide insightful assurance to the Board. GA&A has increasingly embedded digital assurance into audit activities, injecting Artificial Intelligence (AI) into routine control testing and using digital tools to improve the overall experience for employees. The next phase of our transformation is enabling continuous, data-driven assurance across the 3LoA. The Business Banking audit team provides assurance over distribution and products in Business Banking. The Business Banking team is responsible for auditing CBA’s Business Banking portfolio, which includes the following businesses: Everyday Business Banking (Deposits, Merchants, Customer, Digital, Payments etc.) Business Lending (including Asset Finance, Property Finance, Corporate Finance) CommSec The customer facing segments in Business Banking include: Small Business Banking Commercial Banking Regional and Agribusiness Banking Major Client Group. We’re interested in hearing from people who will aspire to Assist the Senior Manager/Executive Manager in building a dynamic, risk-based Audit Plan and to appropriately capture key and emerging risks. In line with the CBA Internal Audit Methodology, oversee effective and efficient assurance to enable complete and collaborative delivery of the Business Banking Audit Plan and the overall CBA & BW GA&A Plan. Deliver assigned scope areas or audits in line with department expected standards and timeframes. Administer audits within the audit electronic workflow system, RiskInSite, including documentation, key date fields, audit status and approval of key audit stage-gates, as required. Draft issues and agree factual accuracy and ratings with the Team Leader and the customer. Support the Quality Assurance (QA) Program as required, including timely and effective delivery of QA file reviews and address feedback quickly and effectively. Use analytics during audits/reviews, to drive audit efficiency and deeper finance insights (i.e. analytics lead-in reviews and KRI monitoring to drive audit scope and targeted audit testing). Engage with people across various parts of the Group; stakeholder management and communication skills are paramount in this role. Other qualities you may possess include Excellent commercial acumen. Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis. Attention to detail and quality. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously. Innovative and able to drive results. Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills. Tableau and Alteryx skills preferable but not necessary. Strong understanding of the Operational, Credit, Market and Regulatory risks.
