Job Description
Automation Reliability Lead This is a newly created role within one of the world’s largest automated distribution centres. As the Automation Reliability Lead, you’ll be the key link between our client and their service provider, ensuring that automation systems are maintained, reliable, and continuously improved. You’ll work closely with the onsite service team to oversee maintenance, reliability, and automation performance. A major part of the role involves root cause analysis, performance investigations, and ensuring contractual metrics are met. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for managing/overseeing spare parts inventory and approvals within their CMMS (Maximo), with a typical budget of $2M–$3M. You’ll also indirectly manage a team of 100 contractors onsite across maintenance, admin & reliability. We are looking for an Automation Engineer or someone with a strong background in heavily automated environments. Industry experience in Food, Beverage, Automotive, Aviation, or Logistics is preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineer looking to take the next step in their career. While this role has no direct reports, you will have full accountability for automation reliability across conveyor systems, cranes, robotics, and tray systems.
