Leadership with Impact Industry Expertise Automotive Talent is partnering with one of our valued clients to find an experienced Depot Manager to lead their site operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven leader to drive operational efficiencies, build a strong team, and ensure high safety and productivity standards. About the Role This role is based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne . As Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the depot, including: Leading and motivating the team to foster a positive and high-performing workplace. Overseeing daily depot functions, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met. Managing stock levels and providing regular reports to senior management. Coordinating product pre-assembly and fitment services, stepping in as required. Overseeing product distribution to customers and regional freight forwarding. Maintaining depot and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders while developing team skills and capabilities. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on leader with the following skills and experience: Proven experience in site, branch, or depot management. Background in automotive, manufacturing, or engineering (highly regarded). Strong leadership and supervisory experience with the ability to develop and manage a skilled team. Availability to work standard weekday hours, with some flexibility during peak times. A balanced approach to both office-based duties and hands-on production oversight. Excellent communication and time-management skills , with a focus on accountability and open dialogue. Commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and workplace safety.
