Our highly-qualified team of pilots, aircrew, engineers and safety managers has wide experience in a diverse range of operations, under challenging conditions, including remote, maritime and mountainous locations, in all weather conditions – day or night. About the Role Toll Aviation is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our commercial and finance team within the aviation industry. This role will support the commercial and financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. You will provide accounting, administrative, and project support to the Senior Commercial Lead/Commercial Analyst or their delegate. This position maintains and utilizes primarily SAP, in addition to other administrative tools, to record, track, and manage all administrative procedures relating to the day-to-day operation of the Commercial team. Main Responsibilities Manage proactively a shared Accounts Payable inbox. Ensuring timely processing and communication Coding of invoices and following up internal invoice approvals in line with Toll delegation of authority Manage and process vendor invoices within engineering system Attend to all queries regarding vendor invoicing, general ledger coding and preparation of approvals prior to processing by Shared Services team Working closely with management and broader staff to raise and/or acquit purchase orders to support operations as required Assist in the development and presentation of reports to management, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data, using MS Office Monitors and collects data in support of Toll Aviation business Support Commercial team in Reconciling tasks where required To be successful in this role, you will need: Previous experience in an accounting/finance role A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is advantageous Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools Proven administrative skills would be looked upon favorable High attention to detail and strong numerical & literacy skills Strong customer service and delivery focus Ability to work simultaneously on multiple issues and priorities, whilst meeting deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional long-term growth within the aviation sector Supportive and dynamic work environment Exposure to an exciting and fast-paced industry What moves you?
