THE ROLE Omni's Fixed Wing Maintenance Team is seeking an Aviation Procurement Officer to join our highly skilled and diverse team. As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for supporting Omni's aviation procurement requirements. This role is to ensure all associated aircraft, engine maintenance, and fleet AOG defects parts are sourced in a timely manner. The Procurement Officer will report to the Maintenance Manager and is accountable for the stocktaking and procurement in accordance with the authorised procurement policies. Our ideal candidate is someone with high attention to detail, who notices the little things. They respond to peaks and troughs in workflow with flexibility and agility. They are not afraid to ask for help or to double-check something they're not quite sure about. Utilising their procurement experience, they provide consistency with their data inputs leading to consistent and accurate reporting for aviation maintenance tasks including managing our warranty portals as part of the Service Centre network. Key Accountabilities Ensure all procurement, including stock takes, are completed in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Manual, Civil Aviation Regulations, and Aircraft or Engine Manufacturers Manuals. Ensure strict control of stores and distribution systems in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Manual. Maintain professional relationships with all maintenance stakeholders and sub-contractors. Promote the good health and safety of all team members in the workplace. Be an Australian Citizen Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one Have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills In addition, this role will require: Over 4 years practical experience in an aviation organisation Ability to use electronic stores management program (e.g. Aerotrack) Desirable Qualifications Recognised qualifications across multiple areas Competent in ICT utilisation Applications will be assessed as they are received, and the position may be filled prior to closing.
