BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | EXCITING BRANDS: TOM DIXON, HAY, & TRADITION NEW & EXCITING ROLE IN A FABULOUSLY ESTABLISHED BUSINESS! We are seeking a self-motivated, results-focused design channel Business Development Manager to drive the sales of 5 highly established global brands in the Australian market, including the esteemed Hay, & Tradition, and Tom Dixon brands. This role will drive commercial relationships with the Interior Design and Architectural space and work with established providers to specify projects for the high-end residential, commercial & hospitality space. The role will also drive retail sales for all brands. A strategic and dynamic sales professional will generate new revenue opportunities from new and existing customer bases within the A&D channel. They will manage leads and enquiries around all the brands, negotiate terms and details with potential clients, and respond to stockist requests. Supported by their team, they will be the brand ambassadors that champion the benefits of each brand and ensure we gain market share in all commercial and residential projects. Previous experience in a similar role is a must. Reporting through to the National Sales Manager, the role will be supported by an account manager and customer service representative to ensure efficient operations with a view to grow the program significantly within the next 24 months. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set a retail and A & D strategy that will support Brand growth of 5 key furniture and accessories brands in Australia and NZ. Ensure sales are according to growth targets in $ and GP Margin. Mentor and coach the greater business on the intricacies of the A&D space. Key Contact on all new customer enquiries. Open doors based on previous relationships to exclusive design firms. Data-driven approach to decision-making. Strong leadership skills with extensive experience in top-to-top negotiation. Ensure the product strategy is aligned with growth targets. Identify market trends and gaps in the market to drive sales and product uptake. Domestic and International travel may be required. Must have experience in the A&D space with like brands. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Proven experience and track record in driving sales within the A&D space. A solid understanding of the A&D community. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team environment. Leverage data to optimize current customer base while driving new customer engagement in Australia and New Zealand. Ability to partner with your team, sometimes rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenges head-on. A values-driven team player who puts the customer first and is committed to building authentic relationships. Ability to have hard conversations without undermining valued partnerships. A strong operational focus, working to achieve sales and profitability targets while maintaining a balanced approach to work and life.
