As our Bar Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating unforgettable moments for our patrons while overseeing all aspects of our bar operations. About Mid Air Perched on the 12th floor of Melbourne Place, Mid Air offers a stunning rooftop dining experience that seamlessly blends contemporary design, panoramic city views, and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Our bar is an integral part of this unique culinary journey, complementing the innovative menu crafted by our acclaimed chef, Nick Deligiannis. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bar operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional customer satisfaction Develop innovative cocktail menus and beverage programs that complement our culinary offerings Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment Maintain inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and manage relationships with suppliers Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and liquor laws Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally Implement marketing strategies to increase bar revenue and attract new customers Collaborate with kitchen staff to create harmonious food and drink pairings Monitor industry trends and introduce creative ideas to keep our bar offerings fresh and exciting Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Bar Manager in a high-volume establishment Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beer, and cocktail crafting Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Proficiency in inventory management and cost control Valid certification in responsible service of alcohol Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
