Job Description

The Role Basic Physician Training Level 2 position. The Location Less than a 2 hour drive East of Melbourne, this is the largest city in the Latrobe Valley. The city has a large commercial centre which incorporates the major regional railway station. Sidewalk cafes, restaurants and shopping arcades mark the commercial centre. The Hospital The facility is the major provider of specialist health services in the Gippsland region, east of Melbourne. Their comprehensive range of services extends to emergency and intensive care, elective surgery, allied health, obstetrics, medical and radiation oncology at the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre, dialysis and aged care. The facility is nearing completion of a $217 million expansion offering larger ICU, increase of medical and surgical beds and operating theatres and improved maternity and paediatric facilities. Essential Requirements Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent General registration with AHPRA Have the appropriate level of clinical knowledge skills and experience to undertake the role of BPT Experience working as a hospital medical officer in the Australian Health System (Desirable) Registration with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as a Basic Physician Trainee (upon commencement) (Desirable) How to Apply Click 'Apply Now' or email .
