The Opportunity The Bids and Tenders Manager is responsible for delivering high quality and consistent customer propositions for tenders across all business units for mid-market customers through to priority and national accounts. Leading a team of bids and tenders business partners, this person actively works on and oversees how the function supports the business to bid for and retain customers. Responsibilities will include: Work with the Sales and Bids & Tenders Team to produce high quality proposals and responses for potential and existing clients, underpinned by industry-tailored propositions that highlight total waste management and sustainability solutions. Develop strategic relationships with sales and commercial leaders to ensure overall alignment on bids and tenders strategy. Take ownership of the bid and tender process, including systems for governance, performance tracking, reporting and auditing. Ensure tender panels are actively managed to capture new opportunities and maintain compliance for pre-qualification. About You You will be responsible for leading and owning the end-to-end project management of allocated Bid and Tender opportunities. Managing a focused team, you will bring expertise in managing stakeholders and have sound organization and communication skills. Proven experience managing Bids and Tenders teams to follow and improve internal processes and deliver high-quality, consistent submissions. Direct experience managing and writing bids for complex projects and customers valued over $10M. Experience or exposure to the industrial, government, construction, commercial or Facilities Management industry. Internal and external customer focus with experience developing organisational narrative and customer solutions that integrate across the sales process.
