Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 for University Hospital Health Systems in Cleveland, OH. Ideal candidate MUST have ultrasound experience. As a key member of the biomedical engineering team, the Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 will be responsible for ensuring that all medical equipment, specifically ultrasound systems, are properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning to meet safety and performance standards. What You'll Do Ultrasound experience; preferably GE, Philips, Sonosite and Bard A minimum of 3 years of experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices independently Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices. Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills. Specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment: sterilizers, vents, dialysis, pumps, anesthesia, monitors, general biomedical equipment Certification as a Biomedical Technician (CBET). Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
