Job Description

Montessori Care is a registered NDIS service provider of in-home aged care and disability supports. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Behavior Analysts to join our diverse team in Greater Sydney NSW. As a BCBA, your primary responsibility is to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other behavioral challenges in NDIS and home care settings. You will assess, design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans to improve the quality of life and functional skills of the clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the individual's strengths, needs, preferences, and areas for intervention. Develop individualised behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and in collaboration with the individual, their family, and other care team members. Utilise data collection methods to monitor progress, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, therapists, educators, and medical professionals, to ensure coordinated care and holistic support. Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress notes, and communication with clients and stakeholders. Stay informed about current research, best practices, and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis. Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code and maintain BCBA certification through ongoing professional development and supervision. Qualifications and Requirements: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, ASD, or behavioral challenges. Knowledge of ABA principles, assessment tools, and intervention strategies. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing. Understanding of NDIS policies, procedures, and funding requirements (specific to Australia). Checks WWCC NDIS Check. First Aid/CPR. Working Conditions: Work may be conducted in various settings, including client homes and community institutions. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs, including occasional evening or weekend appointments. Travel may be required to visit multiple client locations within a designated geographic area.
