Job Description
We are looking for a talented Logistics Software/IT Business Analyst to join our Adelaide team. In this role, you will lead transformative projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment, working with cutting-edge technologies such as AI and automation. You will play a key role in driving client-focused solutions, enhancing system efficiency, and leading implementations across transport, rail, and warehousing logistics. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams will be essential in delivering impactful solutions that optimise logistics and drive innovation. Your Responsibilities: Lead requirement-gathering sessions with operational and technical stakeholders. Manage end-to-end client projects, from pre-sales to post-implementation support. Analyse business needs (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency, ESG compliance) and propose innovative solutions, including AI integration. Develop business cases, functional specs, and user stories, ensuring alignment with client goals. Support data science and development teams with technical documentation, testing, and solution delivery. Present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment. Collaborate with sales, product, and customer experience teams to refine business requirements and reporting solutions. Assist the customer support team in dealing with customer queries and issues. Key Skills: 3+ years as a Business Analyst in logistics, with expertise in TMS, rail/yard planning, and gate operations. Strong knowledge of ERP, WMS, and freight systems, including shipping APIs and e-commerce. A degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in collaboration tools (Google/Microsoft suites) and modern software development practices.
