Business Analyst (Billing / Credit) Melbourne CBD 12 month Day rate Contract Talenza have been engaged by a leading organisation to source an experienced Functional Business Analyst with a strong background in credit and billing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical business initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive efficiency and process improvements. The role sits within a large team of 10 + plus Business Analysts working on business process optmisisation programs. Key Responsibilities: Effective Stakeholder Management: Engage with key business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into actionable insights. Build and maintain strong relationships to facilitate seamless project execution and alignment with business objectives. Business Analysis & Tools Utilisation: Leverage Business Analysis tools to gather, document, and analyse business requirements. Develop process models, business cases, and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning. Credit & Billing Expertise: Apply deep domain knowledge in credit and billing to assess existing processes and recommend improvements. Work closely with finance and operations teams to streamline billing workflows and enhance system capabilities. Project & Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies through process reengineering and automation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities. Performance Tracking & Reporting: Develop insightful reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and project success metrics. Provide recommendations based on data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement. About You: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the credit and billing domain. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels. Hands-on experience with Business Analysis tools and methodologies. Proficiency in using Confluence for documentation and collaboration. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for process optimisation and efficiency improvements.
