Business Analyst - Broadbeach, QLD Job no: 525566Brand: IgniteWork type: Full timeLocation: QueenslandCategories: Information & TechnologyWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with project management skills to join the Ignite Engineering team in Broadbeach!Ignite Travel Group is an award-winning travel company (NTIA Most Outstanding Online Travel Agency 2022), and Australia's largest travel advertiser, delivering incredible holidays and trailblazing win-win-win models for our people, customers, and business partners.In this role, as our Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in capturing all business requirements while also assisting in ensuring our project stays on track for the successful implementation of our new travel booking systems.A day in the life: Gather and document business requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria as part of an agile software delivery team Develop use cases and process flows to support the development of software solutions Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and pain points Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are aligned with business goals Facilitate communication between business and technical teams Participate in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements Develop and maintain system documentation and training material Providing leadership within the project teams to ensure delivery of customer requirements and expectations Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets Managing all aspects of project execution, conflicts, and interdependencies in alignment with the approved project management plan Providing timely and accurate project reporting and presentations to key stakeholders Performing risk management to minimise project risks Who you are: Experience within travel or other internet-scale environments desirable Strong understanding of the travel or retail industry Background knowledge in discipline areas such as, requirements gathering process, design, and architecture etc. Analytical skills and problem-solving skills Knowledge in business process re-engineering and improvement Well-developed verbal communication skills Strong facilitation skills Ability to conduct virtual meetings and workshops Good quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical Attention to detail and effective organisation and time management skills Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills 5+ years' experience in project management What you'll enjoy: Flexible working opportunities Ongoing brain power-ups and skill sharpening, plus occasional escapes to bucket list destinations Catapult your career across a network of brands and businesses in an evolving industry Say no to full price!
