Business Analyst - Financial Services (6+ month contract) Join to apply for the Business Analyst - Financial Services (6+ month contract) role at Quigly Cyber . Quigly is a boutique consultancy with a great network of clients across many industries. Currently, we are looking for a Business Analyst for our Financial Services client to start around March/April of 2025. This is a 6-month contract with likely extension. In this role you will: Gather and analyse existing suite of applications and processes with a view to migrating them to a new platform. Be a key member of the team, working directly with business stakeholders to validate their needs. Help the implementation of solutions to improve overall company performance and end-to-end customer journey. Your Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Understand and analyse existing operational processes and the ways in which people and customers interact with systems. Define high-level and detailed business requirements, validate the changes, and support the business partners during UAT. Ability to create clear and unambiguous user stories and functional specifications which will be used for scoping and technology implementation. Work closely with the development team throughout the project phases from discovery to go-live. Document user stories. Collaborate with product, dev & test people to refine requirements. Validate the development outcome so that it aligns with the project objectives and goals. Collaborate, build, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business requirements are well communicated and understood. Support the business unit with reports and analytics as required to drive agile, data-driven decision making. Focus on continuous improvement, information monitoring, and ability to break down complex problems into simpler, manageable chunks. You possess: A team focus. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A strong desire to analyse and help solve complex business problems. 3-5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen. Demonstrated ability to liaise with technical and non-technical staff to achieve results. Strong Financial Services Experience (Preferred). Strong Agile Experience (Preferred).
