About the role We are looking for a highly skilled and personable Business Analyst & Trainer to play a key role in developing future process maps and training materials in preparation for the implementation of a new Payroll system. This 6-month project role requires a very strong understanding of business processes, stakeholder engagement, and training delivery. This position is mainly in office (Rydalmere, Sydney with parking) and will require some travel across our national branches. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the business to understand and document current payroll processes. Work closely with the business to create and map new business processes that relate to Definitiv. Gain an in-depth understanding of the new payroll platform. Produce detailed training materials for both business processes and work with the payroll module vendor to create training materials. Deliver engaging training sessions to employees on new payroll processes and system functionalities. Elicit, document, and refine business requirements. Provide clear and structured business process documentation using Visio or similar tools. Be adaptable and sensitive to change, helping to guide the business through this transition in coordination with key stakeholders. Quickly build trust with the business and establish strong working relationships. About You: Proven experience in payroll system implementation (essential). Strong ability to map business processes and document requirements. Proficient in process mapping tools such as Visio or similar. A natural trainer and confident presenter, able to educate users at all levels. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly. Detail-oriented, with the ability to capture and document unstructured business knowledge. Adaptable, empathetic, and skilled at managing change in a business transformation setting.
