This role combines deep technical expertise with project management skills to ensure seamless transitions for organizations as they move their offices.The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing the technology requirements of the organization during the office relocation process, ensuring the proper infrastructure is in place, and overseeing the implementation of solutions that enable a smooth, uninterrupted move. The consultant will act as the bridge between the client's technology needs and the physical move, collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure all systems are properly set up in the new office environment.Key Responsibilities Technology Needs Assessment: Work closely with clients to understand their specific technology requirements, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, security, and connectivity needs in the new office space. Project Planning & Coordination: Lead and coordinate all technology-related aspects of the office relocation project, ensuring alignment with the overall timeline, budget, and goals. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring they deliver the required solutions on time and within budget. Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and IT teams to design and implement the necessary network infrastructure and ensure it meets the client's requirements. Implementation & Troubleshooting: Oversee the installation of technology systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are operational prior to and after the move. Post-Move Support: Provide ongoing support to the client post-move to resolve any technology-related issues and ensure everything is functioning as expected. Qualifications Proven experience in IT project management, office relocations, or a similar field. Strong understanding of corporate technology infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, and data systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and vendors. Previous experience with large-scale office moves and technology implementation is a plus.
