Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world. This is an exciting opportunity to help manage the people side of change for our internal projects. You could literally help to shape the way we run some of our firm-wide technology projects, as we’re looking for an experienced Business Change Manager to work alongside our Programme and Project Managers in the Digital Technology team. The Opportunity At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas. You will have the opportunity to do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve. We’re fortunate to work with people at the top of their game in many fields of engineering expertise. As an internal Business Change team, it’s our job to help support them with the technology they need to deliver the best results for clients. We’re looking for someone with drive and energy who has experience delivering change management support in a consulting environment, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into some fun but challenging work. We’ll help you to develop your career and experience by involving you in a range of technology rollout projects – from finance systems to project delivery solutions, from AI tools to Asset management - and as a Business Change Manager, your focus will be on managing the changes for our people so that it’s as easy as possible to adopt the new systems. For the successful candidate, you’ll already have some experience of working in a similar environment and will know what it takes to land change successfully. You’ll also be familiar with what it takes to connect and work with colleagues based in different countries. This role is based within our newly formed APAC (Australasia Pacific) region, but you’ll work with colleagues based around the world, so a typical day is… well…. not very typical! But whether you’re involved in workshops, planning, communications, training or analysis, you’ll be part of a supportive team who want to ensure the best possible outcome for our colleagues and our clients. Is this role right for you? Must have experience successfully delivering complex change within a global company. This is a role where you will need to be able to get stuck in! It’ll be your responsibility to plan and lead the relevant change activities and make the change happen. You’ll also need to be willing to adjust your work schedule to liaise with colleagues based in other parts of the world when required. Must be able to work on your own initiative, to build effective working relationships with colleagues across Arup, and be able to persuade people at all levels about the need for change. Just as importantly, you will be comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team, where collaboration across disciplines is essential for the successful delivery of our projects. What we offer you At Arup, we care about each member’s success, so we can grow together. Guided by our values, we provide an attractive total reward package that recognises the contribution of each of our members to our shared success. As well as competitive, fair and equitable pay, we offer a career in which all of our members can belong, grow and thrive – through benefits that support health and wellbeing, a wide range of learning opportunities and many possibilities to have an impact through the work they do. We are owned in trust on behalf of our members, giving us the freedom, with personal responsibility, to set our own direction and choose work that aligns with our purpose and adds to Arup’s legacy. Our members collaborate on ambitious projects to deliver remarkable outcomes for our clients and communities. We care about you and want you to perform at your best, which is why we offer one of the most competitive benefits packages in our sector. As a member organisation, everyone shares in our success through a global profit share scheme (payments are dependent on the firm’s financial performance). We also provide private medical insurance, Life assurance, Accident insurance and Income protection cover. In addition, you’ll have access to flexible benefits to help you look after all aspects of your wellbeing and give you the freedom and flexibility to find the best solutions for you, your family, and your individual needs. Different people, shared values Arup is an equal opportunity employer that actively promotes and nurtures a diverse and inclusive workforce. We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, regardless of age (within legal limits), gender identity or expression, marital status, disability, neurotype or mental health, race or ethnicity, faith or belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, and whether you’re pregnant or on family leave. We are an open environment that embraces diverse experiences, perspectives, and ideas – this drives our excellence. We are committed to making our recruitment process and workplaces accessible to all candidates. Please email to let us know if you need any assistance or reasonable adjustments throughout your application or interview process, and/or to perform the essential functions of the role. We will do everything we can to support you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
