About the Team The Risk and Compliance Service Centre of Expertise (CoE) is a centre of expertise for risk and compliance across Bendigo Bank; it provides strategy, risk appetite, governance, policy and framework support to enable the success of the business by instilling a culture of risk management. About the Role As the Business Continuity Manager and reporting to the Senior Manager Risk & Compliance Services, you are responsible for assisting business units to implement, maintain and test business continuity and other resiliency plans focusing on critical business functions. You’ll get to: Engage with business units across the conduct of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops to identify critical business processes, timeframes and dependencies. Complete Business Continuity Plan (BCP) activities and with your technical and subject matter expertise add value with a continuous improvement approach, curiosity and drive to support the business objectives. Assess, provide input and support on information relating to issues which impact Business Continuity Management (BCM). Build relationships with all levels of management across the Bank and work closely with Business Continuity Management, Technology and various business units and across 1LOD risk and compliance teams. This is a full-time permanent opportunity but for a strong candidate will consider condensed and or reduced hours offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement. About you To be successful in the role you have: Demonstrated business continuity knowledge & experience including understanding of the Business Continuity Lifecycle, BIA, BCP and BCM. Understanding of requirements under CPS 232 and CPS 230. Knowledge and experience using Operational Risk Management and Frameworks. Experience in Banking with a diverse knowledge of banking operation, products and processes preferred. Strong verbal and writing communication skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with all levels of the business. Methodical approach with high attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to deliver on projects. Ideally you will be based at one of corporate offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Bendigo or Brisbane but we are open to other locations. So, why work with us?
