Business Development Manager - Packaging Tapes $130K + Car or Car Allowance + Super + Bonus NEG Are you an Adhesive Tapes Specialist in the Packaging, Construction, Manufacturing, Industrial sector? Strong Sales & relationship building skills. Join a well-established supplier in the packaging industry that provides a range of strapping, packaging products & systems, and now a range of adhesive tapes to their broad customer base (Resellers and large End Users) throughout Australia. The company delivers innovative and quality products, provides successful solutions to their customers, and maintains their commitment to providing an exceptional level of customer service. As a Senior Sales Representative / BDM – Tapes for Victoria , and the Companies Product Champion, your role will be to proactively promote the Company in the marketplace in this specialist area. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of tapes in Victoria. This will entail promoting and educating the marketplace, developing and executing a sales strategy to proactively target new customers, as well as introducing the range of products to existing company customers. In being the Product Specialist, you will also support other Sales Representatives in the company by providing them with technical support to leverage the company’s business whilst being the main BDM driving sales to achieve sales revenue targets for this new revenue stream. As a Sales Professional, you will have a proven background in successfully achieving sales budgets / targets / KPI’s in the packaging industry specifically around adhesive Tapes. You will be able to demonstrate both “cold calling” and account management on a B2B basis and have good presentation skills. You will be a proactive hunter, demonstrate excellent planning and time management skills, strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, be commercially street smart, results oriented, resilient, IT literate, and truly love actively calling on customers, seeking new opportunities and building strong commercial relationships.
