About the Role As the Business Development Manager for SA and WA, you’ll play a key role in building strong relationships with our retail travel partners, identifying and securing new business, fostering group business, and driving sales in your territories. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be instrumental in driving sales within your territory, focusing primarily on the Trade Travel and National Seniors Travel business units. This role is based in Adelaide and requires regular travel and the flexibility to work evenings/weekends to attend events as needed. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement tailored sales plans for key retail travel partners, identifying opportunities through a consultative sales process. Achieve revenue and engagement targets by nurturing strong relationships with our retail partners and driving brand awareness in both SA and WA. Identify and develop group business opportunities, providing end-to-end support for clients. Represent the brands at trade and consumer events, evaluating ROI and seeking new opportunities to showcase our business. Execute and deliver incredible client presentations online and in person. Stay informed on competitor activities and industry trends, providing insights to the leadership team. Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Hubspot and submit detailed monthly reports. Manage the territory budget and co-op marketing funds, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to ROI policies. About You We’re seeking a results-driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service. Knowledge & Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and familiarity with Hubspot. Full driver’s license (essential). Strong presentation skills and ability to engage audiences as a knowledgeable and trustworthy trainer. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. A people-focused approach with strong networking and client relationship-building skills. Proven sales and business development experience. Flexibility, responsiveness, and a results-driven attitude. Team-oriented with the ability to work autonomously and uphold company values.
