Business Development Manager - Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) Come and work for a global leading player in low-voltage AC Variable Speed Drives! We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Drives Team. Your focus will be on generating new business opportunities and growing existing customer base within the mining industry. Your Duties and responsibilities Achieve the sales growth targets by acquiring new business as well as maintaining existing relationships with Contractors, Consultants, OEMs and End Users. Provide the appropriate technical solution to meet our customer's needs. Be the face of the company at trade shows and product presentations. Review tender specifications, create value propositions and assist in proposal writing. Provide technical advice and support to OEMs and customers. Maintain a CRM database. Your profile Ability to grow to new and existing markets to achieve sales targets. Experience selling into the mining industry. Knowledge and experience of VSDs and their applications. Qualification in Engineering. Current driver's license. Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM would be advantageous.
