Job Description

Business Development and Sales Coordinator The Business Development and Sales Coordinator holds an integral position within our business and will be proficient in their communication, organisation and business development. The role is critical to ensure our continued growth in both the residential and commercial construction sectors. In addition, the role requires communication and organising documentation between potential and existing customers, employees, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Business Development Identifying new opportunities in both the residential and commercial sector for our suite of products, including WoodFibre, OSB Ply and Pro Clima high performance membranes Lead generation and prospecting Developing a sales strategy for the business’ suite of complimentary products Achieving the mutually set sales targets for each product class Introducing potential new customers to our training and assist with helping them understand the benefits of high performance construction Sales and Customer Service Communicate effectively and professionally with all staff, supervisors, and clients Assist existing customers with orders Introduce new products to existing customers Attend Expo’s and other relevant industry events General Complete other one-off projects as required Qualifications and Experience Year 12 completion or equivalent and/or relevant experience Experience within the construction industry (Commercial experience preferable) Previous experience in sales and business development Experience and skills in using MS Office suite of products Knowledge and Skills Passion for high performance construction Motivated and driven to achieve targets Highly developed verbal and written communications skills High attention to detail Ability to manage and organise work and self in a systematic, accurate and timely manner Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High regard for confidentiality of information Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities Core Competencies Decision Making - Makes sound practical decisions within reasonable time frames.
