Business Intelligence Developer | 6 Month FTC | Hybrid We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Developer with a strong APRA regulatory reporting focus to join our Tech team on a 6-month FTC. The Role The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for technical analysis and development of data requirements into the Enterprise Data Warehouse and related systems to support the implementation of data and reporting solutions for the Bank. Your day to day Define, design and implement changes to enterprise data warehouse, including data models, databases, ETL processes, analytics tools and drives all associated access, metadata, data quality, data governance and other components. Engage in the Quality Assurance standards that include reviewing objects to be moved to production and oversees the procedures that include reviewing the changes provided by junior team members to ensure standards and documentation meet expectations as defined. Partnering with the Bank’s divisions and business users to facilitate them with required data insights. Support API / Web service technical design, implementation and support services to all business lines around middleware, hub, and integration and across system interfaces. Support API, Middleware and Integration efforts on approved development projects. Work with teams to maintain SQL Server, ETL packages and reports as required, ensuring development of new or scheduled reports (project work) is delivered within the product development lifecycle. Use Microsoft tooling including SQL, SSIS, SSAS (Cubes), Data Warehouse, Dimension Modelling, Power BI, Data Governance and Compliance. Build and maintain self-service reporting options for the business to consume (i.e. dashboards etc). Select, configure and implement analytics solutions to meet business objectives. Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure data quality. About You Demonstrated experience as a Business Intelligence Developer working across the Banking or wider financial services space. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Highly competent across Microsoft tooling (SQL, SSIS, SSAS (Cubes), Data Warehouse, Dimension Modelling & Power BI). Highly competent in data governance and compliance processes. Highly experienced in data analysis & reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
