Job Description

Justice and Attorney-General (Organisation site)Reform and Support Services; Queensland Courts Service; Courts and Tribunals; Brisbane The primary responsibilities of this position are the extraction, transformation, and reporting of statistical information from a variety of information databases as well as supporting your unit to maximise its reporting capabilities. You will follow programmatic best practices and assist with troubleshooting, fault rectification, and the development of quality data collection policies, processes, pipelines, and systems. In performing your duties, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data-driven future of Queensland Courts.This role reports to the Manager of the Data Architecture & Engineering team. Key Responsibilities Ensure alignment of work with organizational needs and support collaborative initiatives to further the development, deployment, and adoption of data-driven information systems and services. Plan strategically, effectively manage workloads, and oversee the continuous iteration of outputs based on feedback and changing requirements. Support other members of the team by providing mentorship through constructive feedback, enabling opportunities for professional development, and fostering an environment of open communication. Collaborate with external technical teams to develop, implement, and manage processes and solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading statistical information from a wide range of information systems in accordance with required standards, including thorough testing and data validation processes. Demonstrate an ability to understand business requirements and to translate those requirements into technical solutions by engaging with operational teams, management, and executives. Proactively drive continuous improvement and modernisation of processes and technologies. Monitor data extraction and transformation processes relevant to the unit to ensure business interests are protected.
