About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join TasNetworks in this newly created role of Business Performance Lead, working across the Operations Group at TasNetworks, primarily driving continuous improvement, reporting and governance.The Operations Group provides the full end-to-end value chain for the delivery of TasNetworks services. This includes engineering, asset management, planning and design, works delivery, field operations and network operations and planning. In addition, major transmission projects are part of the Executive Operations' remit.The Program Delivery And Systems Team Is Responsible For Developing programs and strategic plans that optimise resources and deliver favourable outcomes. Managing end-to-end portfolio controls and governance to drive overall business performance. The Business Performance Lead is a pivotal role within the business defining, measuring and tracking key performance metrics, ensuring end-to-end visibility of programs and projects to a diverse range of stakeholders.The role will also see you develop and embed Portfolio and Project Management governance across the Operations Group.To achieve these outcomes, the position will lead 4 direct reports: three Program Control Specialists and a Business Analyst.About Us At TasNetworks, we are proud to be the leading provider of electricity transmission and distribution services in Tasmania. Together, we are powering a bright future for Tasmania.About You To be successful in this role, you'll have a bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, or other related professional competence and experience, coupled with a proven track record of effective leadership capabilities, with extensive experience in a similar role.An in-depth understanding of and experience in embedding continuous improvement and change management is essential to the success of this role.We are also looking for the following attributes in a candidate:Possess a high degree of problem solving, time management, and organisational skills. Proven ability to work effectively as a team to prioritise and manage stakeholder requirements and meet expectations.
