Job details Position status: Permanent, Temporary Position type: Full-time, Part-time Occupational group: Administration Classification: AO3 Workplace Location: Mackay region, Rockhampton region, Central West Qld The Transport and Main Roads Program Delivery and Operations (PDO) Central Queensland Region (CQ Region) looks after 9076km of state-controlled roads and about 1510km of the National Road Network. This role will contribute to the development and delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). We are seeking candidates for future AO3 roles. We will assess applications regularly as temporary and permanent vacancies arise. If deemed suitable you may be contacted to determine your interest in a specific role. Pre-employment vetting forms part of our selection process, therefore you will be asked to submit detailed documentation prior to shortlisting. Key Accountabilities Below are some of the general Key Accountabilities for an AO3 in TMR: Provide high-level administrative support to achieve maximum efficiencies, accuracy, and outputs for various support functions. Utilise database and information systems to update, validate, and analyse computer-generated reports. Liaise and foster relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Undertake administrative support in accordance with organisational business rules, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure operational practices comply with departmental and regional policies and governance obligations. Assist in the development of local work practices to meet District office needs.
