A leading Australian business advisory firm seeks an experienced Accountant to manage its growing Business Services Division in Sydney. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with experienced professionals and develop a blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills. Key Responsibilities: Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and payroll tax returns for various entities. Utilizing accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks to manage client finances. Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to enhance their performance. Developing strong relationships with clients through quality product delivery. Identifying additional work opportunities among current clients and promoting the firm's services to both clients and associates. Managing team training and mentoring to grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business. Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in Business Services with strong technical skills; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar and completed CA/CPA qualifications; Solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools like Xero and QuickBooks. Valid work rights, Australian Citizenship, or Permanent Residency status in Australia.
