Business Services Supervisor / Manager | Bendigo Work on a diverse client base up $100M turnover Compliance and advisory role, 80/20 An opportunity has become available for a Business Services Manager to join the upper ranks of this innovative CA practice. They have been providing Accounting, Tax, Corporate Advisory and CFO Advisory services to clients for decades and have become a prominent and respected firm in the marketplace. Their clients range from SMEs, corporates, family groups, non-trading companies/investments to international clients. You will play a key role by assisting the Partners with the development of the business, as well as managing existing clients and the day-to-day activities and controls of the firm. This role will function in both an advisory and compliance capacity. Some of the responsibilities include: Reporting to the Partner Managing a portfolio of approx. $650k - $700k in fees along with 2-3 team members Preparation, delegation, and review of compliance work including financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, FBT, etc. Research and provision of tax advice on issues including FBT, Div7A, GST, CGT concessions, etc. Tax planning and restructuring advice Maintaining strong relationships with clients in Australia and internationally Setting budgets, scheduling workflow, managing delivery and deadlines Mentoring and developing staff and being proactively engaged in building strong relationships with all stakeholders Applicants: Experience working in a Supervisor or Manager capacity in public practice accounting Strong computer literacy skills, particularly with cloud-based programs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Diligent with an eye for accuracy and completeness Ability to manage own portfolio and build on client relationships Experience in leading a team A willingness to be actively involved with the team and the business Benefits: Annual discretionary bonus Training/professional development allowance A firm with an emphasis on continuous training and development Large firm capabilities and clients Family-friendly working environment and hours Competitive package Low staff turnover Open door policy, approachable partners, and fortnightly catch-ups #J-18808-Ljbffr
