Gosford Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife to join our Neonatal Unit. This full-time role offers an incredible opportunity to develop your career in neonatal care while making a real difference in the lives of the most vulnerable patients. In this role, you will provide expert nursing and midwifery care to neonates, supporting them and their families through critical health challenges. You will be responsible for performing nursing interventions in accordance with the latest clinical standards, including managing neonatal emergencies, supporting breastfeeding, and coordinating care to achieve optimal health outcomes. You will be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Additionally, you will contribute to the training and supervision of student midwives, fostering their professional growth. About You You have a current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You have recent clinical experience in acute neonatal care. You have effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills. You have the ability to effectively prioritise and organise your own workload.
