A rewarding Team Leader opportunity exists for an experienced RPN grade 5, SW grade 4, Psychologist grade 4, or OT grade 4 to join the teams of Community Care Units (CCU) and Prevention and Recovery Care (PRAC) service for Northern Area Mental Health Service based at Preston. The Role: CCU and PARC Team Leader You will offer expertise and consultation in assessing and delivering treatment, as well as providing targeted interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs who access our services. In this role, you will support the Program Manager and Program Medical Lead with the daily operational and clinical requirements of our sites. Your effective communication and strategic thinking will be essential in addressing the operational needs. Additionally, you will actively contribute to service development initiatives within the team and assist in fostering a positive team culture. To ensure we meet all aspects of service delivery, we encourage you to be flexible in adjusting priorities as needed while consistently demonstrating behaviors that align with a recovery-focused approach to care. To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership to support the daily operations of two clinical teams. Demonstrated ability to provide specialist consultation and care with evidence-based interventions and intensive support to assist in better outcomes for consumers and families/carers. Demonstrated clinical expertise in assessment, risk management, and decision-making in the delivery of treatment and interventions to consumers, maximizing participation in collaborative recovery and wellness planning. Demonstrated ability to liaise, collaborate, manage conflict, and negotiate with other services. Highly developed organisational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including competent use of relevant information technology and electronic patient record systems. A sound working knowledge of the philosophical foundations, processes, and environments that support recovery; including major types of treatments, therapies, and targeted interventions. The ability to build key working relationships with other key NAMHS leader positions that provide in-reach support and expert advice on access to CCU and PARC service. Next Steps . .
