Cibaria Manly is a beachside Italian venue that will offer a diverse selection of ‘rias’ as our menu will explore all of the goodness that Italian food and drinks are well-known for. When you think of Cibaria, think of antipasti, pizza, pasta, cocktails, vino, and mouth-watering gelato. We are looking for a Café Manager to help with the opening process. Additionally, our Café Manager will have prior experience with café operations management, be well-versed in Australia’s coffee culture, and know how to create a seven-day roster. Essential Requirements: Fluent in English, spoken and written Hold a current RSA Certificate Full Australian working rights Computer literacy is a must Minimum 1 year in café supervisory role Coffee & Food knowledge Polite personal manner, both face to face and over the phone Understanding of hospitality cost control measures Ability to keep cool under pressure Strong team leading skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent grooming standards Hours can vary and include weekend and holiday work Preferred Requirements: Speak Italian? Bonus! Basic cocktail & bar experience Your tasks and responsibilities: Ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of cafe service Liaising with suppliers & negotiating the best prices to maximise GP Ongoing staff performance management Maintaining the gelato service What’s in it for you?
